Queridas familias,
¡Hoy hemos tenido un día increíble! El sol brillaba y el clima era perfecto para hacer un montón de actividades. Primero, nos levantamos temprano y disfrutamos de un buen desayuno. Luego, nos fuimos de excursión para explorar un río cercano y conectarnos con la naturaleza. Al regresar, participamos en diferentes actividades al aire libre para seguir aprovechando el buen tiempo. Todo el día estuvimos con mucha emoción porque por la tarde íbamos a la Playa del Sardinero, en Santander, ¡para aprender a surfear! 🌊🏄
Para comenzar, nos dieron instrucciones básicas en la arena sobre cómo usar la tabla y mantener el equilibrio sobre ella. ¡No es tan sencillo como parece! Los monitores nos enseñaron algunos movimientos esenciales para manejar las olas, y finalmente nos metimos al agua. Hacía un poco de frío, pero los trajes de neopreno nos protegían del agua del Cantábrico. A pesar del ello, nos divertimos muchísimo surfeando, jugando en el agua y en la arena... Además, tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de un clima perfecto.
¡Ha sido un día fructífero y bien aprovechado! Estamos deseando saber qué nos deparará el día de mañana. ¡Esperad y os lo contaremos! ¡Os queremos! ❤
Dear Families,
Today was an incredible day! The sun was shining, and the weather was perfect for a lot of activities. First, we got up early and had a tasty breakfast. Then we went on a trip to explore a nearby river and connect with nature. When we got back, we engaged in some outdoor activities to continue enjoying the good weather. We were all very excited throughout the day because, in the afternoon, we were heading to Playa del Sardinero in Santander to learn how to surf! 🌊🏄
To start, we received some basic instructions on the sand about how to use the surfboard and maintain balance on it. It's not as easy as it looks! The instructors showed us some essential moves for handling the waves, and then we finally got into the water. The water was cold, but the wetsuits protected us from the Cantabrian Sea. Despite the cold, we had fun, playing in the water, and on the sand... Moreover, we were lucky enough to enjoy a perfect weather.
It was a productive and well-spent day! We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Stay tuned, and we'll share all the details!
